The main subject is the composition now known as the “Spring fresco”. Using a range of colours ,including black, red, yellow and blue in various combinations,the artist represented the mountainous and rocky landscape of Santorini, planted with blossoming lillies, between which swallows fly in a diversity of positions.

“Flower vase”
Exact copy of the wall-painting found at the Prechistoric of Akrotiri into the ‘West House” ,room 4 ,window ,South jamb.
The window which admits light to chamber 4 was embellised with wall-paitings. The stuccoed was painted in imitation marble,while on each jamb an attempt has been made to suggest an open window with a frame of vertical red bands standing on an imitation marble base . Painted within this frame is an elegant ,two handled vase of polychrome marble from wich spring five blue stems bearing red lily blossoms.

''Sea daffodils'' Detail of the wall-painting found at the prehistoric city of Akrotiri into “the house of the Ladies” room 1, west section, West wall.
The lower zone of the wall-painting comprises a broad red-dish-yellow surface with an undulating upper limit,presumably an attempt at rendering uneven ground. The upper zone consists of a system of narrow black,red and blue bands alternating with white. Between these two zones the main theme is a representation of blossoming plants growing out of the uneven ground. Concerning the species of plant is the “Pancratium lily” .The characteristic trait is that it grows on sandy beaches ,hence its popular name of sea daffodil.It has a pungent heady perfume and abounds even today on the shores of Thera.
